Day 1 Sofia
Arrival in Sofia, take the metro to the centre of Sofia. Check in at your hotel.
Meet your private tour guide for a walking city tour of Sofia. Visit Alexander Nevski Memorial Cathedral, St. Sofia 6th basilica, Parliament Square, National Theatre, Presidency, the ruins of Ancient Serdica.
Back to the hotel.
Day 2 Sofia – Melnik – Rila Monastery – Sofia
Day tour with private car and guide to Melnik – the smallest town in Bulgaria. Visit Kordopulov House and wine tasting. Free time for independent lunch. Proceed to Rila Monastery UNESCO site. Tour.
Return to Sofia in the early evening.

2 days from Sofia to Veliko Tarnovo and Arbanassi
2 days tour to the Medieval Capital of Bulgaria, also known as “The City of Tsars”. Located in north-central Bulgaria, on 4 hills on the banks of Yantra River, some 230 km to the east of Sofia.
Among the main attractions in the city are: Tsarevets Citadel – the Royal Hill with the Patriarhal Cathedral and Baldwin tower, the Monument of Asenevtsi, Samovodska Charshia ( the Old Marketplace ), Gurko Street, The House with the Monkey, Hadjinikuli Inn, Assenevsi neighbourhood with the numerous medieval churches, etc.
Arbanassi museum village is located on a hill above Veliko Turnovo. It was mentioned for the first time in documents from 1538. The village was so scenic that Greek bishops from Mount Athos and from as far as Jerusalem went to spend the summer there!
