Short itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Romania – Bucharest – Sibiu – Sibiel
Arrival early in the morning. Pick-up by your English speaking guide/ driver and start of the tour of Romania.
Day 2: Sibiel – Biertan – Sighisoara
Day 3: Sighisoara – Valeni – Vadu Izei
Day 4: Full day in Maramures – Sapanta with the Merry Cemetery and the wooden churches included in UNESCO list. Dinner and overnight in a local guesthouse in Vadu Izei.
Day 5: Vadu Izei – Dragomiresti, Borgo Pass – Northern Transylvania – Sucevita Monastery – Sucevita.
Day 6: Sucevita – Vatra Moldovitei – Voronet – Sucevita: Full day in Bucovina, the land of painted churches. Overnight in Sucevita.
Day 7: Sucevita – Red Lake – Brasov
Day 8: Brasov – Viscri – Bran Castle – Brasov
Day 9: Brasov – Azuga resort and visit Rhein Wine Cellar – Peles Castle – Sinaia – Bucharest
Day 10: Departure transfer to Bucharest airport.
