Green policies of our partners

As a sustainable tourism advocate, we are proud to share some of the sustainability policies that our accommodation providers follow:
Park Hotel Pirin 5* – Sandanski
“We have an ecologist working for us and we implement everything that they recommend. In every department we have a recycling policy, collecting paper and plastic in different containers. We use paper straws and we aim to use less and less plastic. We use local suppliers for most of the goods we buy. Recently we installed solar panels and produce our own energy for the hotel needs. The hotel also bought an electric vehicle, which is used to transport staff and guests to the city centre and back.”
Hotel Alliance 4* – Plovdiv
“We collect all plastics for recycling and we collect separately the plastic caps of bottles and donate them to the national campaign “Caps for the future”. We have fully removed the plastic containers of soap and cosmetics in all bathrooms. No plastic utensils are used in the restaurant and all plastic coffee cups are substituted with paper ones. We use only local suppliers and buy locally produced food products. These are only a few of our sustainability policies and we are constantly working to implement new ones.”
Grand Hotel Riga 4* – Ruse
“The hotel management strives to implement environmentally friendly activities and policies. We have invested in a large solar panel system, which provides for a significant part of the consumed energy. We use the latest technology in AC systems, which are energy effective. Automatic sensor taps are installed in the bathrooms of all public areas. We also strive to use local suppliers of products as much as possible.”
Hotel Aqua Varna 4*
“The hotel uses intelligent lighting management systems that allow for automatic switching off of lights in rooms when not in use and adjusting lighting based on natural light. Energy-efficient systems are used for heating water, which reduces electricity consumption. Waste heat generated by coolers is captured and used for water heating and reduces the hotel’s carbon print. The hotel uses precise dosing systems for detergents, which reduces the consumption of chemicals and water. All lighting fixtures in the hotel have been replaced with LED lighting. Dispensers for liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner are installed in all rooms, eliminating the need for small plastic bottles. We actively support local producers and use sustainable products in the hotel restaurant. This includes the use of organic and seasonal products, which not only reduce the carbon footprint but also support local economy.”
